Images of the Month - April & May 2005
Spring has Sprung

It’s official. Summer can’t be far behind! These first days of warm breezes wafting the delicate perfumes of new growth have me dizzy with anticipation. What better symbols of this heady time than butterflies, flowers and a baby bird. Five new images for April and May combined.

“What Now?”
I found this baby bird a-tremblin’, clinging to this fallen branch after his first (apparently) attempt at flight.

“Bromeliad”
Bromeliads grow in a rosette with stiff blade-like leaves. This forms an inner “cup” that catches and stores rainwater.

“Red Spotted Purple”

“Tiger Swallowtail”

“Yellow Coneflowers”

Thanks for looking! I post these images for two reasons: (1) for those who are interested in seeing my latest work and (2) because they are a great way for me to guage reaction. Due to the significant investment in printing images, I often hold off going into the darkroom until I get your reactions.
>>>> I would greatly appreciate your feedback - now.
