A fine, fall morning in another one of the most underrated parks in the east, New York’s Allegany State Park. 65,000 acres of pure bliss - lakes, streams, small mountains, wilderness, old-growth forest - what more could the hard-core adventurer ask for? This morning it had snowed and with much of the fall color still in the trees, the atmosphere was pure magic.
