Nothing accents fall foliage better than those first warm rays of the morning sun. I captured the first image way up north near the French River in Ontario, Canada. The second image was taken on a very frosty morning in the town of Bliss, NY just as the sun peaked over a hilltop behind me; note the distinct dividing line of sun and shadow. The third image was taken in the same location just a few minutes later, but the sun’s light had already lost some of its warmth (still a beautiful scene though) - gotta work fast in those conditions!
